It's not time to panic just yet. The Broncos got the wind knocked out of them in Des Moines on December 12th when they were edged by the Bulldogs, 72-69.
The Broncos lost a game they were expected to win.
Drake beat Boise State with overpowering shooting and also by winning three pointers.
The Bulldogs, with 53% accuracy, outshot the Broncos from the field, who could only manage 38% against a good defense. Drake launched three-pointers for a deadly 15 points compared to 6 for Boise State. Boise State really suffered with only 9% three point shooting. They usually manage 32% per game.
Paul Noonan was a bright spot against the Bulldogs with 20 points on 53% shooting in 29 minutes. La`Shard Anderson added a game-high 7 assists.
This was a hard loss to Drake. The Broncos have a record of 6-3. This adds another one to our 3 game slide.
Next up for us is a matchup with Utah on the road on December 17th.
