After the Long Beach State loss, the Broncos are in a bit of a slump. On December 8th at a neutral site, the Broncos were edged by the 20th ranked Rebels, 75-72.
The Broncos played this game closer than expectations would have led us to believe.
UNLV dictated this game by crushing Boise State in assists and also winning three point shooting.
UNLV shot an intimidating 46% from the three point line compared to only 38% for Boise State. UNLV spread the ball around with ease, and their 18 assists gave them an advantage compared to 8 from Boise State.
Robert Arnold and La`Shard Anderson did their best to keep the Broncos in it with 18 points apiece. Arnold also led both teams with 7 rebounds.
You can't dwell on every loss, especially losses to ranked teams like UNLV. The Broncos fall to 6-2.
