Tai Wesley from Utah State has won StatSheet's WAC Player of the Week for December 13th. StatSheet's WAC Freshman of the Week is Kevin Olekaibe from Fresno State. And last but certainly not least, New Mexico State's Aaron (Gordo) Castillo has received StatSheet's WAC 6th Man of the Week.

Wesley had respectable numbers with 60% shooting, 16 points per game, and 4.5 assists per game. The Utah State senior led his team to wins against Long Beach State and Cal State Bakersfield.

Wesley led all rebounding for the Aggies with 14 while adding 6 assists in a big 81-53 win over Long Beach State. In the next game he added 16 points on 71% shooting in a 77-58 victory against Cal State Bakersfield.

This is the second StatSheet WAC Player of the Week award for Tai Wesley. The runner-up this week is San Jose State senior Adrian Oliver. Honorable mention goes to Fresno State sophomore Greg Smith. The highest ranking player from Boise State was La`Shard Anderson who finished 5th.

StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week: Fresno State's Kevin Olekaibe

Kevin Olekaibe averaged 26 minutes as a starter for Fresno State. In a late 74-70 win over San Diego, Olekaibe tallied 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Then in a 64-51 win over Pepperdine, he added 11 points on 41% shooting.

This is the first StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week honor for Kevin Olekaibe. Christian Kabongo from New Mexico State grabs runner-up. Bobby Miles from Hawaii wins honorable mention. Ryan Watkins, who finished 9th, was the highest ranking freshman for Boise State.

StatSheet WAC 6th Man of the Week: New Mexico State's Aaron (Gordo) Castillo

Aaron (Gordo) Castillo, a senior and a 6-5 guard, played 33 minutes during a single game for the Aggies. In a 78-62 loss to New Mexico, Castillo got 9 points and 2 rebounds.

This is Aaron (Gordo) Castillo's first StatSheet WAC 6th Man of the Week award this season. Douglas Kurtz, a senior center from Hawaii, wins runner up. Kyle Barone, a sophomore center from Idaho, receives honorable mention.

Boise State players have not yet been named StatSheet WAC Player of the Week this season.
